| Search Notes | Obtained by our staff and/or local agent network. We search by subject’s name, date of birth, degree claimed and date of graduation. Some institutions may require a student ID number, student “seat” number, copy of diploma and/or student’s mark sheet (grades) to locate and verify a student`s records. These numbers can differ for each year attended. Most international students are keenly aware of the importance of saving this information for future verification of their records. |

| Unpleasant Realities | Unsuccessful attempts are still charged at regular fee structure due to high cost of dealing with schools which prove to be uncooperative. Though rare, some schools may choose to charge nominal search fees to provide a proper verification. Should this occur, you will be notified as to the additional cost. Can`t find the school? Owens` research department will do an "initial attempt to locate," free of charge. If this still proves unsuccessful you may retain Owens to provide an "indepth attempt to locate" service at US$50 per hour. Though usually successful, there is no guarantee of a positive result. |
